Costume Breakdown Assistant –
‘The White Princess’ Company Pictures and Playground, The Bottle Yard Studios
–    Assisting with the ageing and dying of fabric
–    Staining leather
–    Hand stitching crowd costumes

July 2015

Costume Breakdown Assistant –
‘The Living and the Dead’, BBC Wales Drama Productions, The Bottle Yard Studios
–    Using a variety of techniques to age and break down the costumes, including dying and physically distressing fabric
–    Reshaping felt hats and painting ‘worn’ effect to surface

January – May 2015

Head of Costume –
MA Film: ‘Lucid’, Edinburgh College of Art
–    Designed and made the costumes for the lead, Sarah
–    Researched and bought suitable clothing from high street retailers whilst keeping to a given budget
–    Set dressing

2014 – Present

Sales Assistant / Illustrator –
Sobey’s Vintage Clothing, Bristol
–    Window/shop floor dressing and visual merchandising
–    Interacting with customers and handling payment
–    Designed and decorated by hand two full-size mannequins for shop window display

June 2011

Devising Group Performance –
Bristol Old Vic
–    Working within a group of young people to produce a play over the course of a week which was performed in front of an audience in the Old Vic studio theatre.

November 2010

Backstage Runner –
‘Stages’ Bristol Dance Competition Finals
–    Leaflet promotion
–    Organising the different schools and competitors backstage, making sure they knew when and where to line up and go on stage
–    Worked behind the ‘Stages’ desk dealing with members of the public.

June 2010

The Tobacco Factory Theatre –
–    Shadowed the ‘front of house’ team collecting tickets, helping at the box office and dealing with members of the public.


2016 – Winner of the Alexander Flynn Award for Project Sketchbook

2012 – Overall winner of the Bristol Schools Art Competition held at Bristol Cathedral
